Ant Posted February 28, 2012 Posted February 28, 2012 Thinking about velcroing my 2u preamp to my pedaltrain and then velcroing my pedals ontop, it feels like it should be sturdy enough, can anyone see any problems with this I may have overlooked?? Quote
craigcapener Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 I wouldn't feel comfortable stamping on my amp 3/4 times per song but in theory it has no reason why it wouldn't really work. The question would be why? Quote
fonzoooroo Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 I'd be tempted to either build a sleeve case for the preamp, and velcro to that, or at least velcro a piece of board to the top, then velcro the pedals to that... Either of those'd reduce stress on the preamp case. Quote
Al Heeley Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 wheres the vent holes? Is it going to overheat? Will the case start to buckle after 10 gigs bouncing up and down? Isn't the preamp safer sitting on top of your speaker cab? Quote
RandomProddy Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 Find/make/mod a 2u rack case and put the pedals on top of it? Quote

Ant Posted March 2, 2012 Author Posted March 2, 2012 I can imagine that getting destroyed on tour!! I might look into custom making a pedalboard or something Quote
