Any Basschatter bass tech's near Nottingham?

I like to support BC an all that so I thought I'd ask the community before I take it to Dan @ Music Inn or Colin @ Dave Mann. Some audible static issues/possible grounding work on a bass. I have exhausted every option at home and with my limited electronics experience, including EVERY bit of advice from others I'm every thread of the last 2 years on Basschat with folks asking for help over 'similar' issues.

So anyone do this for a living in the community near by?

Zombie thread alert!

I'm now looking for someone to help with a very noisy/intermittent squeal  jack issue on an active bass. Preferably in the Newark area, or Nottinghamish.

 

Started suddenly during a recording session! Now it emits an awful feedbacky squeal unless you hold hold the lead firmly to the side.
