ahpook Posted April 8, 2008 Posted April 8, 2008 there's the mxr 10-band eq i know about. any other ideas for a bass-friendly eq pedal with true bypass ? Quote
EskimoBassist Posted April 8, 2008 Posted April 8, 2008 Yeah the Boss GEB-7 is really good and is bass specific. And as it's Boss it's built like a Brick Sh1t House! I've got one and it's really useful, it has a 7 band eq and a level! Quote

ahpook Posted April 8, 2008 Author Posted April 8, 2008 i guess i've got a boss tuner in my effects chain already, so maybe a true bypass one is a bit pointless now. the boss might be an option. if only mxr stuff wasn't so expensive ! Quote
Kev Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 sometimes buffered bypasses are better for your signal chain than true bypass are Quote

Kev Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 out of interest, why not in this case? if you wanna use it before a fuzz or something, then ye true bypass would be better Quote
