Is there a Drumchat.co.uk out there that anyone knows for the drummer in my band.

He needs to waste time at work being a drum nerd just like I've been doing on here for the last few weeks :)

Cheers
Neil

Hi Neil

We have bought drumchat.co.uk with a view to making it part of a chat group of forums (to also include guitarchat) but we haven't worked on it yet.

It would be handy having a list of all the equivalent forums related to various instruments. I'm trying to find one for Woodwind or brass players, but all of those forums seem to be dead (unless I'm looking in the wrong place)

Mike Dolbear's website is the drum equivalent.

www.mikedolbear.com

Very active forum there, and Mike is a big player in the UK drum scene.

Pretty good site. Mostly welcoming to bassists too!

I thought Drummers would need to learn time, before they wasted time.

I can see this getting out of control!

Basschat
Drumchat
Guitarchat
Keychat
Fiddlechat
Singchat
Rapchat
Brasschat

Then there's your further offshoots.
Off topic would become Chatchat
Classifieds would become Sellthatchat
Theory would become Whatsthatchat

When will it end?

That sounds like it is most definitely a forum that would not be suitable for work! :P

I get some funny looks at work when folk can only see part of the window saying "asschat"!
