How heavy are these in relation to the old Fender ones?

Sorry "Heavy Duty" is a bit misleading! What i meant these arnt those thin tin plate jobs these are proper solid just like Fender Tuners and of the same sort of weight i would guess. Will include the string tree as well.

How long is the post? Like from the plate to the top of where the string winds on?

And what size hole do you need?

posts are 31 mm long and 12mm dia approx so a 17mm hole for the ferrules.

Yup indeed, just measured em so u need a 17mm hole.
