artisan Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 (edited) i'm selling this cracking little beasty as i'm playing almost exclusively double bass now so i have already sorted an amp' more suited to that. my Roland is in mint condition with no damage to anything (edit: other than slight to damage to a nut on the rear panel which is nowt *see pics*) & in perfect working order, all knobs etc are totally undamaged & original. soundwise this is a total tone monster with three preset amp settings, modern - vintage - super clean (which does exactly what it says) + a very easy to use tone section that gives a massive range of available sounds, almost anything you like in a true trouser flapping punchy as hell kind of way. i used to have an Ampeg SVT rig which i replaced with this & this not only sounds better but is much much much louder too it comes with a rather tasteful black with yellow piping Roqsolid cover & i also have the original instruction manual. these were £859.00 when new so i think it is well worth my asking price, infact it's a bloody bargain. here's the blurb on Rolands site http://www.roland.co.../en/D-BASS_210/ here a youtube video as you can hear though this baby has no trouble at all with the low end of things & really impresses in the room shaking stakes. cheers price is for cash on collection please,i don't have any packaging for this so i can't post it but i may be able to meet up somewhere close to Harrogate. cheers again Edited March 27, 2012 by artisan
Rayman Posted March 7, 2012 Posted March 7, 2012 What's it like weight wise? I believe they are quite light? I have a Fender 2x10 pro 400 combo that I love but weighs a ton. I'd be interested to know if this is lighter.
artisan Posted March 7, 2012 Author Posted March 7, 2012 (edited) Hi,it is pretty light, Roland's site say 24kg which i'd agree with,i can pick it up one handed no problem at all. it has carry handles on either side & one on top, either way it's easy carry about. cheers Edited March 7, 2012 by artisan
