Blademan_98 Posted March 3, 2012 Posted March 3, 2012 That was really cool. The laid back style covers the complexity of the groove. Fantastic Quote

xilddx Posted March 5, 2012 Posted March 5, 2012 Guys, this was in the Kings Head on Acton High Street in West London. It was a free gig. I think they'll be doing more there. And even if you don't really like this sort of music, it's a great opportunity to see this sort of mastery close up and learn lots of useful stuff. And support your fellow musicians. Quote
Bigjas Posted March 6, 2012 Posted March 6, 2012 Absolutely fantastic!! That performance made me smile for the full 12 minutes and made me realise just how much I have to learn. It would be great to hear more videos from you. Thanks Jas Quote
xilddx Posted March 6, 2012 Posted March 6, 2012
Great drummer.
He's a nice bloke too, for an American He won young drummer of the year aged 14 about 20 years ago. He was in Justin Hawkins' band Hot Leg. Quote
phil625sxc Posted March 7, 2012 Posted March 7, 2012 Please post up any future London gigs, I couldn't see anything on your website - would love to see the band. Quote
51m0n Posted March 7, 2012 Posted March 7, 2012 Thats superb, exceptional recording too, who did the audio, what was used etc etc - dons lab coat for in depth and nerdy reply (hopefully).... Quote
chardbass Posted March 7, 2012 Posted March 7, 2012 Dave, have really enjoyed your last few YouTube vids. The sound has been exceptional and I love the Darby fly-on-the-wall recording session vids. Really good seeing someone nail it with a little bit of tasty danger chucked in there. Your Sei sounds killing in the live vids too- really top notch. Very tasty playing in Red Baron- super restrained. Quote
