FREE TICKET BASSSHOW ...who posted it...where did it go?

I just saw a post offering a free saturday ticket (bought for the wrong day) by someone.
When I looked back at the post a couple of mins later, that particular post was not there.
Was it a moderator offering the ticket who is able to delete a post or is there now the facility for
us to delete our own posts instead of having to 'request' for the post to be delete?
It would be handy if we could delete our own post.
