ash Posted March 3, 2012 Posted March 3, 2012 (edited) For sale my Peavey Foundation 5 String, maple fingerboard, two passive soapbars made in USA. A very nice 5 string, easy to play with a good Jazz bass type sound. A quality bass but if it had an 'F' on the headstock it would go for three times as much! Unfortunately the Peavey name is not as highly regarded as it should be for their earlier instruments. This bass has had a few dings, the jack socket surround has been replaced with a thin metal one - does the job - by the previous owner and one tuner has been repaired. All works as it should and is a real workhorse. Bought recently off a basschatter via ebay to complete a recording project.Selling because I rarely use a 5er these days. £135 picked up. All the reviews I can find say its awesome but the neck seems a little thiner than what im used to, so wouldnt mind seeing it before I think about a purchase. Im in the Leeds area
