LemonCello Posted March 4, 2012 Posted March 4, 2012 (edited) Selling my franken fender fretless. This has been professionally de-fretted by Simon at Cardiff Guitars. Neither he nor I are aware of the make? Some of you might know based on the shape of the head stock? Anyway, it's light, in top condition, plays very well wearing flats and got me playing fretless to a very basic standard. Strangely for an inexpensive instrument, it seems to have very powerful pup's? I haven't had the scratch plate off to have a look. If you are looking for a cheap fret less to get you started, you could do a lot worse than this. Looking for [s]£125[/s] £100 posted please. Thanks for looking, LC Edited March 20, 2012 by LemonCello
Hiya mate, Not quite enough. Tuner new £69 and they seem to go on here for about £40 £45. I'll take the tuner + £70 if its in good nick and complete. Cheers, LC
noojb Posted March 6, 2012 Posted March 6, 2012 ok, well i can't afford anymore than 50 at the moment sorry.
LemonCello Posted March 6, 2012 Author Posted March 6, 2012 No worries, someone will love her. She plays really well.
LemonCello Posted March 9, 2012 Author Posted March 9, 2012 This plays really well and is v punchy. Light too so those of you with iffy backs......

Forgive my speculative observation if this isn't the case. Bump.
LemonCello Posted March 9, 2012 Author Posted March 9, 2012
Is it a solid body?
Yep solid body Dave

LemonCello Posted March 12, 2012 Author Posted March 12, 2012 Having done a bit of reading over the weekend, I think this may just be an Encore. Body is made of something called Wuton which is very light apparantly. Anyway, if it is in fact an Encore, they do get a good write up and as I've said earlierr in this thread it does play very well and sounds smooth and punchy.
LemonCello Posted March 12, 2012 Author Posted March 12, 2012
What is the nut width, please?
Hi Sam, Nut width 1.75"
Sambrook Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 Thanks, forgot to ask as well, how chunky is the neck? I can't handle a very slim jazz style neck, and would need a substantial depth to the neck (L200 style)
LemonCello Posted March 13, 2012 Author Posted March 13, 2012 It has a proper modern C shaped P bass neck. I can't do Jazz necks either.
LemonCello Posted March 14, 2012 Author Posted March 14, 2012 Still here and ready to go. Will be posted in a new thick padded gigbag (that cost me £25) and then packed in a Fender box. What pedals you got?
LemonCello Posted March 20, 2012 Author Posted March 20, 2012 Price down to just £100 posted (or swap for a pedal) LC
