Orange AD200 (lack of) EQ

Played on one last night - 3 band EQ?! tone was great and all but I was surprised at the lack of flexibility - I need my mid control dammit, at least get a sweep on there or something. End rant.

I use a sansamp with mine, theres a bit more EQ in that. The basic AD200 tone is great though, its a bit of a one trick pony granted, but so is a P-bass

I tried the same, it was brand new and in my opinion due to the serious lack of tone variation it was at best a very expensive power amp nothing more, the midrange did virtualy nothing.

Get a Matamp instead.

I've found no need to adjust mine. Treble at 10 o'clock, mids at noon, bass at 2 o'clock - set and forget, make small adjustments to bass/treble as necessary... I wouldn't mind if it just had those two eq controls!

I've set mine to 12 O'clock all round and never really touched it. The simplicity is great if you're a stick to one sound kinda guy.
