REDLAWMAN Posted March 6, 2012 Share Posted March 6, 2012 Does anyone know of any musicians in the Truro or general Cornwall area who would be happy for me to come along and join them for a jam, have some fun and better my skills, with a view to eventually joining or forming a band, please? davehux Posted March 6, 2012 Share Posted March 6, 2012 Hi There are a few jam nights around Truro that are a really good place to learn a few tricks, get some practice, and most importantly, meet some people who may want to get a band together. The King William IV in Truro has a full-on one on Wednesdays. I go to one at the MMI Bar (Miners & Mechanics) in St Agnes, also on Weds - it's a bit more relaxed (semi acoustic), not so many egos and shredders There's another low-key one at the Britannia in Chacewater on Mondays.
