alyctes Posted March 6, 2012 Posted March 6, 2012 On Preloved, owner looking to swap. http://www.preloved.co.uk/adverts/show/105283337 Maybe he can't sell it because nobody knows what it is? Quote
jezzaboy Posted March 6, 2012 Posted March 6, 2012 (edited) Don`t know what it is but that`s a MM style bridge. I don`t think that is an original part Is Bassassin still on the missing list? He might know. Just checked, not seen since May 2011. Hope he is ok. Jez Edited March 6, 2012 by jezzaboy Quote
nick Posted March 6, 2012 Posted March 6, 2012 (edited) It's a Korean made Satellite, made for FCN, probably early 80's. Bridge & pickup not original. Edited March 6, 2012 by nick Quote
alyctes Posted March 6, 2012 Author Posted March 6, 2012 Thank you, gentlemen. Any guess at a sensible price for it? I'd be guessing at £150 max, if it's nice to play. Quote

These & fretless versions do also crop up on Ebay quite regularly, & generally don't sell for much. Still, an alright bass though. Quote
TomRichards Posted March 6, 2012 Posted March 6, 2012 I'm not so sure its Korean, as to me it has all the hallmarks of basses made in the Fujigen factory for Ibanez during that time period. The laminated neck looks entirely like the old Ibanez Musicians. Having said that, I don't see a lot on this that is original. The tuners could even be replacements, the knobs certainly are, the bridge also. $100 USD if it were here, maybe $150 tops depending on sound. Quote
