I've been offered a black one for £250.

Is this a good price ? I have a Squire CV so not sure if I need it but if it's cheep like budgie

Looking at the sales forum the price is about rigth at £250. In which case I'll pass (I'm all about white guitars)

If anyone is interested I'm happy to hook a fellow BC'er up and sort delivery as it's in my town.

Probably just needs a decent set up, horrible boomy muddy E string. Pickups too close to the string I think.

£250 sounds like an alright price. There are a couple on gumtree local to me and they are asking 350 ish although these are the, "more fantastic blinged up can you tell the differance" newish models.

True dat. EVERY bass needs an East pre, even my toddler's plastic one and my nephew's 'guitar hero' thing have them in - they simply the BALLS.
I keep trying to persuade my keyboard player to put one in his Korg thingy.

Try some new strings first - a lot cheaper.
