Valve advice please

I currently have 2 x (Tungsol) 6SL7GT valves in my preamp and want to get some spares (ie have an excuse to buy another type and play around)
Are ECC35 valves interchangeable? Anyone done this?

[b] Not sure if they are plug and play because never come across them before. My usual strategy is to search ebay for the alternative numbers an pick up ones not listed with the main number because they go cheaper.[/b]
