Graham
I was having a discussion with the wife to be the other day over the correct pronunciation of Lakland, I always assumed it was 'Lake-land' (no e, but an accent over the a) but she thought it was 'Lack-Land' and she's normally better at these sorts of things than me - anyone now the answer? Also Wal, is it pronounced like one of those things that hold a roof up or differently? My mate reckoned it was 'wahl' but that doesn't look right to me. Cosmo Valdemar
Pretty sure it's 'lake-land'. As for Wal, never been too sure! I know Sei is pronounced 'say', if that's any help...

LukeFRC
wawick or war-wick tok i or tokiay i think we will have to get used to the fact that great deal of the things we hold onto so dearly may not be true!

shizznit
Aguilar always seems to get mispronounced. Warwick pronounced by an American always cheeses me off.
spinynorman
Never said this out loud to anyone, but for years I mentally read Epiphone as E-pif-onnee. Like it's a greek godess. Edited March 8, 2012 by spinynorman
Billy Apple
Wal is a contrition of Waller, so is pronounced Wol. From Lakland's site.. Q. How do you pronounce Lakland? Lake-land or Lackland? A. Lakland is pronounced Lake-land with a long first A (note the symbol over the A in our logo). The name comes from a combination of Dan Lakin and original partner Hugh McFarland. LAKin plus mcfarLAND equals Lakland. Edited March 8, 2012 by billyapple
toneknob
It's Lake-land - see http://www.lakland.com/faq.htm And it's Agg-wee-larr isn't it? Emphasis on the wee. Edited March 8, 2012 by toneknob
Doddy
Epifani...Epi-fah-nee,not epiphany. Not a pronunciation, but it always annoys me when I see/hear 'David Eden amps'. No! It's Eden. 'David' is the model of cabinet they make.
Bilbo
+1 for Wal rhyming with doll. As billyapple says, it is a derivative of the manufacturers name Waller so it figures.
