TRBboy
There was the odd punter who came into the music shop i worked in and asked to have a go on an "Ibba-neigh"! (always eye-ban-ez as far as I'm concerned!) We also had a guy come in and ask if we had "any of them Flangurr pedals" The one that always really bothers me is D'addario; People who say "Dee-Addario" Its Da-da-rio! BILL POSTERS
Used to work with a guy who always called Hewlett Packard Hewitt & Placard, sort of stuck, I still tend to say it that way now, twenty years later.

mart
So how should I say Adidas? In the '70s it was simply ADDY-das, and then sometime (in the '90s? the decades started blurring then) it seemed to become a-DEE-das. And then (in the '00s?) Wikipedia said that it was short for Adi Dasler, so it should be Addy-DAS. Or have I got that all wrong? And, in any case, should I just go and buy Puma instead? Dave Vader
As a massive geek, I wonder about lin-nux, vs. lie-nux. However as we linux users never actually speak in real life, it's never come up.
