There's absolutely no way you two didn't set that up!

Actually, I've noticed that you never see seashell and discreet at the same time... I reckon they're the same person. :D

I was being polite - plus the fact that a 20' tall moth makes a hell of a lot of dust if aggravated...

Tru, dat. I'm exhausted, me - I've just spent the entire night neurotically flapping around a giant light bulb. Oof.

There was the odd punter who came into the music shop i worked in and asked to have a go on an "Ibba-neigh"! (always eye-ban-ez as far as I'm concerned!)

We also had a guy come in and ask if we had "any of them Flangurr pedals"

The one that always really bothers me is D'addario; People who say "Dee-Addario" Its Da-da-rio!

Larry Lakland introduced himself to me as Larry 'Lake-land' at the NAMM show 2002, so I will take the pronounciation from the man himself

Well, I was talking to Donald Addario just the other day and he said he didn't mind people using his initial.

So how should I say Adidas? In the '70s it was simply ADDY-das, and then sometime (in the '90s? the decades started blurring then) it seemed to become a-DEE-das. And then (in the '00s?) Wikipedia said that it was short for Adi Dasler, so it should be Addy-DAS.

Or have I got that all wrong?

And, in any case, should I just go and buy Puma instead?

Christ, no. The current mrs discreet (who is American) says POOMA, whereas young master discreet (who is English) says PYOOMA. I say, 'will you people please shut up and get out of my shed'.

I quite like not being a biker anymore sometimes so I don't have to hear people trying to say Doo-ka-tee like they're a mafia don.
What's wrong with a bit of anglicising? Joocatty's fine for me.
