After years of trying I've got my hands on a Kasuga R$$k copy. As a result I'm at five basses, it's one bass goes,, or my conkers! This is a bass that was only made for about 3 years, being replaced with the active Mexican PJ deluxe. It is a Mexican bass but I know there is a thread on here a year or so back, extolling there virtues. Not Gospel but I seem to remember the thread saying something like first choices of wood into the plant, American hardware and pups, American bass assembled and painted in Mexico. Hopefully will either find the thread or somebody will put me right. What I do know is this; White P body, P/J config, currently black scratchplate but original anodised gold coloured plate included. PASSIVE. String through body bridge. Maple factory JAZZ neck, maple fretboard. Easy truss rod adjustment on headstock end. Status flatwounds on at moment. Issues, small paint chips either side of neck pocket, couple of little chips on the fretboard, G string side. Please read my feedback below. Will come with tatty gig bag. Sale only please.£370 collected, £390 couriered. Will deliver FREE within 50 miles of Wigan. Questions, fire away. Crap mobile phone photo's up within couple of hours. (Done, apologies that's as good as I get. Edited March 14, 2012 by karlfer

bigjohn
A very keen price that. I've been thinking mine might go at some point, though every time I play it I dismiss the idea! I won't be offering mine up so cheap. The passive ones are hard to come by too. I've never seen another for sale. I remember the thread well. They are great basses. Much like a pre-cursor to the original Highway Ones, except built in Mexico, with the choicest parts. Oh. And painted proper Edited March 8, 2012 by bigjohn

Don't know if it sold but it's never been back up. I reckon £370 is realistic for a quickish sale, to keep "Her Who Makes Toast By Breathing On Bread" off my case. Karl. Bassdude BE
Thinking about it I will take a trade directly against a top class cab, EBS 2 X 12, Schroeder kinda thing. A little cash from me to make the difference. Must be minimum 600 watts, must be 4 ohms. Really want to buy Stingrayman's Schroeder but I don't have a vehicle big enough for it at the moment. No doubt when I do it will have gone . Cheers, Karl.
Hi bud, i've got a Tech soundsystems (Tecamp) M212 cab that i might be willing to part with, it's 600 watts , 4Ohm and just 19kg.! pictures: https://picasaweb.google.com/114784379631091607043/25Februari2012 intrested? peace & grooves! karlfer
Hi Don, link doesn't seem to work, but I've found your cab on your own thread. Very tempting as it's very much what I'm after, but taking in pricing differences, (£80 in perceived values, £13 in delivery differences) it's a bit too much cost to change. Good luck, Karl. cardinaljay
Lovely bass - I remember this being featured in Bassist magazine - I am pretty sure it had a gold Splate - is the current black one the original one?
sixdegrees
If this was black/maple you'd have the cash by now!
No, the black one was custom made by Aurora Projects who do all my scratchplates (yup, I'm a cosmetics tart ). The original anodised gold coloured plate is included in the sale price. Sixdegrees, it's a good job my USA Black, Black,Maple isn't up for sale then .
colleya
I bought one of these from a Basschatter just over a year ago and I've barely touched my US jazz since. Someone's going to be very happy. Andy
