solo4652
Folks I have my eye on this body. The seller says it's a "2002 MIM Fender Precision Bass Deluxe body. Alder" I'm no Fender expert at all, so I thought I'd ask the opinion of those who know here. I've asked if it's passive or active. Anything else I should ask? Ou7shined
The cnc hole in the pocket certainly says Mexy to me but then after that I'm at a loss.
bigjohn
Looks pretty right to me... I'm going to change the strings on mine this weekend. I'll whip the neck off and have a look at the pocket. Looks familiar though.

I suppose I'm most concerned that this body is a MIM Fender Deluxe and not a Squier. From looking at pictures of both, it seems to me that this is an MIM Fender Deluxe. The three knobs would suggest it's passive - which is what I want. So, I think I'll take a chance on it. Just need to find an MIM/MIJ/MIA P neck ( not a J - I have hulking great paws for hands) to drop into it now... Steve
