Ha! Nope, this one was ordered fresh back in 2010 ish, delivered about this time two years ago. Brilliant straight out of the box.

I do have a set of official chrome knobs for it that they sent in addition, but I've left it how it was built for now.

That is a pickup configuration is one which i have wanted to try for quite a while. very tasty

Does the "s" pickup add much to the tonal pallet ?

Definitely! I love the S pup solo'd or mixed with the H. It's a very very versatile bass Quite rare in these parts.

Did the rug come with it? Very tonally matched. New optional extras - matched rug and headstock!!

Haha! This was a gift from my girlfriends mum. I say gift, she just got bored and gave us it.
