VST Help

I suspect this is a simple question with a simple answer but I am a bit stumped.

I have downloaded a free VST synthesiser and unzipped it into the VSTplugins that I direct reaper to but it does not want to see it. What am I doing wrong?

I think so. I downloaded the windows 32 bit and I am running XP service pack 2?

I think that makes sense?

It is the TAL noise maker. I am very new to midi so I may be making a school boy error.

Did you rescan for Vst's when you unzipped into your plugin folder? This shows up as TAL Noisemaker Plugin in Reaper's VSTi list on my machine (32bit Reaper/Win7x64).

Ah, I may not have unzipped it. Will be on the music on Sunday so will report back then!
