[/quote] yes i have never seen a bass like this - it is certainly not original the seller has explained the modifications and it looks like the intention was to re-create/update the bass to something approaching the later precision deluxes with the double sized jazz pup presumably a lot of routing has been necessary which unfortunately makes it hard to return the bass tom its original spec Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Have all pickups been replaced or have you just added the two jazz pickups in the bridge position? Is it active ? If so, what sort of preamp have you put in ? Looks a nice bass.
