+1. Synkronized was the first album I ever owned, when I got it for my 10th birthday I didn't have a clue what bass even was but the rhythms made a massive impression on me. Nick Fyffe's lines are fantastic, even though as a bassist in a band I'd feel pretty short changed by only getting to play on 3-4 tracks on an album (if I remember rightly, Fyffe only plays on about that many on both Synkronized and A Funk Odyssey).
