This was conceived & manufactured to be sold in a fashion shop, and is described as "a ready-to-play power gift" in the link I followed from the ad. The case contains a built-in "amplifier". Doesn't seem to me there'd be very much point in making a bass to a particularly high standard, if it's only intended to be sold as a fashion-brand yuppie toy. Jon.
