BigRedX Posted April 10, 2008 Posted April 10, 2008 That looks totally cool! What do all the knobs and switches do? Quote
Hutton Posted April 10, 2008 Author Posted April 10, 2008
That looks totally cool! What do all the knobs and switches do?
Thanks. The two switches on the top horn are a pickup selector and a three-way tone. The knob on the bottom horn is a master volume. The two knobs to the rear are for pickup volume. The switch behind them is a stand-by switch basically for switching the bass on and off. Quote

Jono Bolton Posted April 12, 2008 Posted April 12, 2008 That is lovely! And you're in Paisley too, I'm not that far away! Where in Paisley do you live? And what's your home security system like? Would it be possible for an amateur thief to get in and out easily? Quote
Hutton Posted April 12, 2008 Author Posted April 12, 2008 Hi Jono. I stay In Ralston in the east end of the town with a big dog tied onto the Gretsch. Quote

Mr Randall Posted June 1, 2008 Posted June 1, 2008
I have just acquired this rather nice Gretsch G6072.
That's beautiful! I'm actually looking for one but it's like hen's teeth here in London. I hear it plays/sounds like the White Falcon bass which i tried in New York last week. If anyone knows of one for sale near London please let me know!! Mr Randall. Quote
paul, the Posted June 1, 2008 Posted June 1, 2008 Now belongs to the select group of Basschatters' basses that I've saved to my computer. Quote
EBS_freak Posted June 6, 2008 Posted June 6, 2008 Man, that looks like a slap monster. Only joking! Nice bass man. Quote
Mr Randall Posted June 13, 2008 Posted June 13, 2008 I got one of those yesterday at long last courtesy of http://www.davesguitar.com/ . It's a real beauty - never mind playing it, i can't stop looking at it! I've got to say that i got the best service from Dave's Guitar. I ordered it on Tuesday and i was playing it last night (Thursday!) - not bad considering they're based in Wisconsin and i'm in London! I know they've got a couple left...... Mr Randall. Quote
