1970 Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 (edited) ebay needs a block seller function... Edited March 14, 2012 by 1970 Quote
crez5150 Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 Indeed....... I hate it too....... it goes on for bloody pages Quote
brensabre79 Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 Yeah and its not just GK stuff either. PITA! Quote
pietruszka Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 I know what you mean, ebay is no longer an auction site, more an online shopping centre. Dan Quote

Big_Stu Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 They did my cover for my 4 x 12. They took a while but it's a good prduct, tho' I agree that it's annoying wading thru that lot when checking Hiwatts on ebay. Quote
Bill Fitzmaurice Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 Not as sick as I am of seeing blokes proclaim "I WON!!!" When you win something your cost is nothing. When you 'win' on ebay you're the one who was left paying the highest price after all the rest decided it wasn't worth it. Quote
xgsjx Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 If that's Roqsolid, they did mine too. Brilliant service & quality product. Just buy one & get an amp to fit. Quote
fatboyslimfast Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 (edited) You can use arguments - when I was looking for an Ashdown, I typed "Ashdown EB* -cover*" (without the quotes). This meant list anything that says Ashdown and anything starting with EB in the same sentence, but remove any entry that mentions any word starting with cover. Gets rid of the chaff. Obv, it can be a pain if someone lists an "Ashdown EBxxx with dust cover"... Edited March 14, 2012 by fatboyslimfast Quote
I tend to just use '-fits' to get rid of the Roqsolid covers, because most of their listings say "Padded Cover Fits [whatever]". If somebody was selling an amp with a cover, they probably wouldn't say "...which fits!" in the listing Quote

longtimefred Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 i always sort my listings by price decending, really once you get down to the £45 odd quid that they charge, if you are looking at amps, your gonna be lucky to find anything around that or under so when i hit the roqsolids i know i have come to the end! haha. StraightSix Posted March 20, 2012 Posted March 20, 2012 I can also vouch for the Roqsolid covers but their Ebay ads can become a bit much if you don't search accurately. I tend to knock out all the 'buy it now' sales right at the start so I never see them. Quote
EskimoBassist Posted March 20, 2012 Posted March 20, 2012 Massive plus one on this. One of the reasons I stopped scouring fleabay for bass gear. Quote
