Grand Wazoo Posted March 14, 2012 Author Posted March 14, 2012 (edited)
Sweeeeettttttttttttttttt! The ladies getting some fresh air! What exactly is the seafoam bass?
It's a 1986 all original Paul Reed Smith Bass 4 featuring 3 single coil pickups with a dummy hum cancelling coil fitted at the back of the body behind the bridge. Active / Passive with a 5 position rotary switch selecting 5 most used combinations from P Bass to J Bass to a very similar Gibson EBO when the neck pickup is soloed to a very uncanny stinkray with the middle and bridge pickups both on, thrown in the bargain. The preamp controls are Deep and Clear representing low and high apart from that it weighs next to nought (7lbs. something) although it looks like a small scale compared to the basses next to it, it's just that the body is small the shape of which was taken from their guitars but it's a full 34" scale and the neck is modelled on a P bass also to note is that the neck is made out of Brazilian maple which is now banned and illegal for luthier to use while the body is again south american Ash. There's an exact same one going on ebay for silly money as you can see on this link: http://www.ebay.co.u...=item279d5e4036 Edited March 14, 2012 by Grand Wazoo Quote

Hobbayne Posted March 23, 2012 Posted March 23, 2012 (edited) While its a lovely warm spring day, I thought you might like to see what was a 1996 Korea Squier P Bass. It has been fitted with a tort pick guard, a fake F****er logo, Seymour Duncan SPB 1 vintage pickups, a chrome bridge and pickup cover. Why I hear you say? Because I wanted a replica of a late 60,s P Bass for my 60,s covers band. Incedently, I tried to get a 1968/69 logo which i,m quiet pleased with. Edited March 23, 2012 by Hobbayne Quote
