leftybassman392
A bit of an odd one, this, and in truth I'm not entirely sure where to put it, so it's going here and in 'amps & cabs'. If you know what it is then you'll know that these things are rare as hen's teeth in the UK. Made in '96. Power rating is 110w IIRC. The amplifier section shouts 'guitar' but in truth it is also very good for bass and EUB - which is why I'm listing it here. It has it's original Eminence 15" speaker, and has been serviced in living memory. The original Hammond reverb was broken when I got it, and has been replaced. Definitely an old school sound. I imported it from the States a few years ago for solo Jazz guitar gigs, but have also gigged it with a bass. As a U.S. import it still has the U.S. spec power supply and plug and needs a UK transformer for use in this country (you can't simply snip the US plug off - not if you want it to work that is!). I have the necessary unit - somewhere! I'll either find it or replace it in time for the sale. Price? Well this is a bit of a tough one as there's so few others around to compare it with. Let's say £260 ono. johnhurn
Hi, I'm definetly interested. Where are you? Would be good to try first if possible. You've replaced the reverb - what's the new one? John

I'm in Sutton Coldfield (Northeast Birmingham). You'd be welcome to come round and give it a run.
johnhurn
I'm in Eastbourne so not really practical for me to get up there to try out It sounds all good and the price is fine so think I will go ahead and buy. How do you want to proceed?
leftybassman392
I'm in Eastbourne so not really practical for me to get up there to try out It sounds all good and the price is fine so think I will go ahead and buy. How do you want to proceed?
I can't really post it as I have nothing to put it in but would be happy to meet up somewhere to do the deal. The High Wycombe area looks to be around halfway so perhaps we can look for a place in that general vicinity. It would need to be a cash sale and I'll need to add a bit for fuel - say £15? (still less than it would cost by courier or post). I have plenty of time on my hands and am in no great hurry, but can't do this Sunday. If this is ok I'll look for somewhere to meet and you let me know when you can do the trip. Failing that I could get closer to you but it would cost more in fuel of course. p.s. it might be a good idea to do the rest of this transaction using the Personal Messaging (PM) system.
