victor5string
Can these cabs cut it in a loud rock band setting? And any general feedback on there performance would be great.
Lozz196
I can`t see why not, my 21012l is an incredibly loud cab. Schroeders do tend to have a very specific sound, which, on its own, at tv volume levels, isn`t particularly nice (very middy and scratchy). But, up at band volumes, this tone really helps the bass in the mix. I`ve had many different makes of cab, including Eden, Marshall, Ampeg, and Barefaced (which I really rate, btw) but my Schroeder edges it for me. stinson
Got a 1212l, blinding cab. Cuts very well in a rock setting. Loz sums up the Schroeder sound well.
thumperbob 2002
Got a 1212L and a 1515L- very light, very very loud. Clean tone or dirty- depends upon your amp- I tend to EQ out the mid hump, or leave it depending upon the room. Each cab by itself is easily louder than most 4 x 10s Edited March 16, 2012 by thumperbob 2002
