Steve Chilcott
Hi. The pickup on my OLP doesn't sit quiet right at the height I want. Suspect the foam support is failing. What do I replace it with? Would springs be better? Edited March 16, 2012 by Steve Chilcott
sixdegrees
I have this problem too. I used springs, cut to length, and threaded them onto the screws - big improvement. But then I found that the pickup had been screwed in at a slanted angle, so now need to do some filling and drilling. But the short answer is that the screws helped massively. The pickup height is now self-adjusting.
tommorichards
i use some offcuts from my garden hose, and they work quite well, but i think this stuff is also good http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Plastic-tubing-medical-grade-1-diameter-price-per-mtr-/280643005095?pt=UK_Pet_Supplies_Fish&hash=item4157a06aa7#ht_1341wt_1163

tommorichards
well, you place it lengthways under the pickup, or two pieces perpendicular to the pickup, the latter is probably easier. Here is a rubbish mspaint picture to give you a better idea (the big rectangle thing id your pickup)
icastle
A few slices of cheap mousemat and a smear of Copydex to hold it together. Edited March 16, 2012 by icastle
