Stacker
I have just randomly pulled out half a dozen LPs from the 70s but no PPC !!
BigRedX
Just about every UK album released in the 70s seemed to be either a Porky Prime Cut or a Bilbo Bopper. The only music I had ever committed to vinyl is a PPC - apparently the lyrics to our songs caused much hilarity in the cutting room! daz
Yeah I always used to look on the run out grooves to see if it was a Porky prime cut and see if some other esoteric message had been scratched in. There is a youtube video of him somewhere. Edit: here it is Edited March 17, 2012 by daz

BluRay
Always wondered what that meant! Immediately remembered it from lots of my records when I was a kid.
rushbo
During my 15 minutes of fame (more like 30 bleedin’ seconds…) I was lucky enough to have an album and single mastered by the esteemed Mr Peckham. I even got to see him working on them. He graciously answered a million geeky fanboy questions whilst trying to make my weedy little indietune into something that wouldn’t sound too offensive on the radio. I asked him who his most difficult client was and without missing a beat, he answered ‘Rory Gallagher’. Apparently, Rory was an absolute sweetheart but kept trying to remix albums at the mastering stage, much to Porky’s annoyance. I was also incredibly impressed by his custom made pink, pig shaped notepads…classy. He’s a gentleman and a legend.
