rushbo Posted March 17, 2012 Posted March 17, 2012 During my 15 minutes of fame (more like 30 bleedin’ seconds…) I was lucky enough to have an album and single mastered by the esteemed Mr Peckham. I even got to see him working on them. He graciously answered a million geeky fanboy questions whilst trying to make my weedy little indietune into something that wouldn’t sound too offensive on the radio. I asked him who his most difficult client was and without missing a beat, he answered ‘Rory Gallagher’. Apparently, Rory was an absolute sweetheart but kept trying to remix albums at the mastering stage, much to Porky’s annoyance. I was also incredibly impressed by his custom made pink, pig shaped notepads…classy. He’s a gentleman and a legend. Quote
