craigjf1969
Hi all, does anybody know the cheapest place to buy an aerosol can of clear lacquer...does B+Q do it or will it be an online purchase??
NancyJohnson
Get down to Halfords...couldn't find what I needed at Homebase/B&Q. It's not expensive...I bought three cans of red and a clearcoat and it was around £20.00 for the lot. P
gary mac
I've used this seller http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Clear-GLOSS-Nitrocellulose-Nitro-Guitar-Lacquer-400ml-Aerosol-Vintage-Finish-/190575441601?pt=UK_Guitar_Accessories&hash=item2c5f2e76c1 Don't know if they are the cheapest but the service and products are very good. Prosebass
I have used Plasticote on a few builds, and being acrylic it is easy to apply if you are not used to spray finishes. As with all coatings test first before attacking your bass B&Q stock it or you can get the industrial strength version online. silentbob
Sorry to hijack, but while we're on the subject of lacquers, I'm looking to paint my bass in a satin black finish, what type of lacquer if any should i use on this (are there matt lacquers available)?
