dr.funk Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 (edited) I bought this pedal about a year ago based on the soundclips below. I used it a couple of times playing around with it but never found a use for it with my band. Consequently it has been sitting in its box for the last 10 months. It is in mint condition and has never even had a battery put in to it or been stomped on! Box and manual both supplied. The PN-04 is an envelope-filter, which is controlled by the dynamics of the instrument. The louder the input-signal, the brighter the tone, the lower the inputsignal, the darker the tone. The PN-04 produces a sound similar to a conventional Wah without using a foot-pedal. The three adjustment-knobs allow a wide variety of wah-sounds, also providing a sensitivity-control to fit the needs of your instrument. I bought the pedal from Public Peace in Germany for 99 Euros + shipping. According to XE.com 99 euros in GBP = £79.44 So I am asking £60 posted Soundclips! Scroll down to the bottom of the page for soundclips and settings. My favourite is 'Funki Hanki' and the pedal really nails that sounds! Kev Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 (edited) they seem to be copies of Jacques pedals?? or maybe its the other way round... these sell at diago i think Edited April 11, 2008 by BassManKev
dr.funk Posted April 11, 2008 Author Posted April 11, 2008 Interesting.. According to hereEXAR are marketed in the USA under the Jacques name although it appears Jacques also sell handmade stompboxes that they build themselves. I don't believe there is a Jacques version of the Pignose though.
dr.funk Posted April 13, 2008 Author Posted April 13, 2008 Yeah I think fun is the best way to describe envelope filters really Price drop to £60 + shipping.
