Little bastard - new range/model?

Just been surfing online for ashdown little bastards amps- how come there's such a price range? Some retailers seem to be flogging them for around the £500 mark whilst others are around £400. Are the more expensive ones newer, do they have bigger/ better valves in or are they UK made?

There was a series of UK made ones, not sure how easy it is to tell by looking which you have.
