Been away from bass playing and being in a band for quite a while now. And consequently Basschat as well! A bit rusty with everything :(

But regardless, I have a couple of questions.

Is the Darkglass B3K THAT good? It sounded fantastic in demos I've heard when it first came out, but I'm guessing a lot of you guys have had your hands on it now, at least in passing. Considering a new setup that will be built pretty heavily around a pedal similar to it, if not using the Darkglass one.

Also, does anyone have all their pedals mounted in a rack? And if so, how? I want to get mine off the floor, in a kind of permanent setup, but I still want visible access to them so I can see my tuner etc.

I picked up a b3k today and so far am very impressed. Would definitely recommend it over any other dirt pedals I've yet heard.

Can't say I've ever rack mounted pedals but some people have I wouldn't rack mount a pedal based tuner when rack ones can be picked up fairly cheap though.

If I can fit all my pedals in a 2u space, then I'd rather do that than have a 2u space AND an extra 1u for an inferior tuner.

Hadn't even thought about the B7k... It looks the most expensive D:

There's nothing magic about it, but if the sound it does is the one you want I'm not aware of a sensible alternative.
