clauster Posted March 22, 2012 Posted March 22, 2012 (edited) Hi Guys, The Boss ODB3 has tone controls and a mix control. So, does the EQ work on just the distortion or on the clean too? Edited March 23, 2012 by clauster Quote
I am not excane Posted March 23, 2012 Posted March 23, 2012 If you leave the distortion all the way down, you can use it like a "dirty" 2 band EQ. So yes, the EQ affects both your clean and dirty. Quote
I am not excane Posted March 23, 2012 Posted March 23, 2012 I should clarify - if you have the blend all the way to clean, you have a clean 2 band EQ. I haven't played this pedal in a LOOONG time and I remember it being always slightly gritty even with the blend to clean. This is not the case, you can have a perfectly clean bass and treble EQ for your clean tone. Quote
clauster Posted March 23, 2012 Author Posted March 23, 2012 Thanks, I was hoping it just acted on the distortion. Back to plan A. Quote

[/quote] That's plan A (get a blended loop pedal and stick my bass blogger in there, then add an EQ pedal in the loop before the Blogger). Just trying to keep my number of pedals to a number that doesn't require a pedal board (I know: weird huh?) Quote
