51m0n
Stop pulling his leg! That was an Ampeg one off 32x10 they made to look very cool at a NAMM show or for some dodgy cockrock band way back when. If Wayne actually has that rig he needs a flat bed and a forklift to get it to a gig, and he'll need to knock a wall down to get it into the Dog and Pony on the highstreet for the soundcheck Edited April 13, 2012 by 51m0n
flyfisher
Snakeoil not allowed though
I didn't see that in the rules. It would probably disallow all manner of 'boutique' rigs.
51m0n
Fair point. In that case Victor Wooten endorses a mad expensive totally hocus power cable too, cant have a bass rig without a $3000 dollar cable for power from the wall to the rig now can you! And interconnects made of platted silver leprechaun ponytails...

flyfisher
Yep, and the really mad thing is that there must be people out there buying this stuff. Perhaps those people are borrowing against their expected windfall from a kindly Nigerian businessman? That would make some sort of perverse sense. With a 1000W all tube classic head made for NAMM IIRC
