Guest johnzgerman
Hi, i am regrettably selling my hexacomp as it just does not get used enough. i also find my floor Q a little more user friendly. its in great condition, it has input and output level, six bands of compression and six bands of gain to drive said compressers, runs on 9v psu or batteries. any questions ask away.... £85 posted Edited January 1, 2013 by johnzgerman

Harrisonian91
How have you found this works against standard stompbox compressors? I have been looking for a multiband comp, do I need 6 bands? I usually play with my limiter/compressor on all the time. Guest johnzgerman
ive had some great sounds out of it, and its great fun to mess around with, it is possible to get it to sound like a reasonably normal comresser, but it also goes to extremes, the compression bands can be used as a 6 band eq which is quite different to a standard compresser. i went through a phase of buying compresser pedals looking for the right one, had i not bought a joe meek floor q at around the same time i probably would have been satisfied with the hexacomp. i also play with the comp on all the time, and i just found that the floor q was easier to make very minor adjustments to and a bit more flexible. hope that helps.
