Bassbongo Posted March 24, 2012 Share Posted March 24, 2012 Interesting, groovy, very playable, funky 1978 Fender Precision bass needs new home. Originally olympic white it fell victim to a fiend with a spray can, and spent many years in disguise. Now the spray paint is 90% gone and the beautifully silky smooth mottled white body is a joy to behold, The neck is a beauty, dark rosewood fingerboard with a thinner nut width, more towards Jazz than P-bass. The Bass has a DiMarzio (not sure what model) with is coil tapped giving a beefy full tone and at the flick of a switch a lighter more Jazz like groove, its fitted with the covers and a repro tortoise shell pickguard - the original pickguardd is included and has the serial sticker to match the headstock. It will be a sad day when it leaves home but poverty has me by the nuts.
