Sheldon you don't often get a word of critisicm from me on any of your work but I have looked at the way these Super P headstocks are going and... I can't take it anymore!!

I have to say your original design (no matter how expensive or time consuming it is to achieve) was the best in my views, you rendered a very arty solution, now you are taking it back form us with corner cutting options that are imho not worthy of the original.

The second variant which appeared on Dave Swift's headstock (which is the inlay without the scalloped section) I can just about see it fitting within the design



But this I am not a fan of:

Which one do you think looks better?

1) original scooped / etched

or

2) Modern plastic plate.

Original, IMO. Plus the scooped version would be much harder to damage!

My 2p: Have the 'D' logo bigger and in place of the 'Super P' and have 'Super P' smaller and on a plastic disc where the 'D' logo is! Which is more important?
