I'm a bit thick me............I don't use this pedal much but in one band I use it for just one effect in the middle of a song. Otherwise it needs to be in bypass mode. Now I know you can put a switch on it to kick it between effect and bypass with having to contort your foot to press both buttons. I believe this is either latching or non-latching? So which one do I need? Am I barking up the wrong tree totally?

Non latching. I use one with my B2.1u
