lee4
I bought this strap to replace my old leather strap which I found I could not adjust to a comfy position. Build quality. The main body of the strap is neoprene(I believe)which has been filled with a soft foam.Attached to this is(at one end only)a sturdy length of nylon webbing which is adjustable via a metal buckle. The pin ends are made of a heavy duty rubber. All metal fittings are sturdy and finished in black. On the underside there is a small hidden pocket for picks or anything else small you may need to grab whilst playing. Comfort. The strap conforms to the shape of your shoulder readily, and holds the bass in position well.I have only tried it for 30 minutes or so(just so I could adjust the length)but in this small space of time it made my bass feel lighter. I only received the strap today so I cannot comment on its longevity, but it appears sturdy and seems(so far)to do all that it is advertised to. I have not put any photos on,but this item can be viewed on the Bass Direct website.
guyl
I've had one for quite a while. It is comfortable and i'm pleased with it. However, it does easily work itself longer. (I think many straps do this.) In the end I did something Billy Sheehan recommends and got it "stiched" to the optimum length.
