I could have picked one up in the early 1990's for about £170.00 ! I had an extremely rare one of these on black and biscuit covering which i eventually sold for £500 to a guy in Holland because few folk believed it had it's original tolex covering.......but it WAS completely original.

Well it's had two offers yet there's another on Ebay UK with a buy it now for £1,195 and not sold. Here:

I guess my point is that there's a hell of a lot of valve amps out there, this is very old, low powered (17watts), are they really worth that much money? maybe they are then?

Low powered is a bonus for the purposes of the sort of people who spend lots of money on old guitar amps. It is nostalgia to an extent. Guitar equipment is 90% mojo and 11% snake oil, because you have to have 1% more for the tone.
