73Jazz
As i mentionend in athread before, i want to refinish my 73 Precision in sonic blue. A really good friend of mine will do the work, as i am more than the wrong person for that. He did an awesome refinish in hot chocolate brown metallic on a jazzbass before. But we have one problem, we can`t find the colour sonic blue in germany. Does someone of you know where to get the colour? Would be perfect, if original colour, if not as similar as possible would be the choice Thanks in advance for any kind of help

LawrenceH
Daphne blue is a fair bit darker/bluer than sonic blue...both good colours though!

skankdelvar
If you can't get something pre-mixed, go to a specialist automotive paint supplier and get them to mix some for you and put it in a spray can. A bit of research indicates that the relevant Dupont / DUCO code is 2295 (Cadillac Sonic Blue - year 1956). They should be able to match to that. Unfortunately Manchester Guitar Tech does not ship outside of UK Mainland, but eluth.com a french supplier linked on the page of Manchester Guitar Tech does ship to germany, as he confirmed me via email. That was a great help from you all. Thank you very much

steve-soar
My favourite colour. I'm renovating an Ibanez Blazer, in this colour, all original. Alas, it is right handed and I am left handed. I'll make her sweet, sell her on and then I'll be spraying my P bass in Sonic Blue.
