urb
They sound absolutely killing - I may pop into the Pizza gig on Saturday - Pete Biggin is my fave funk/groove drummer right now -saw him with Incognito at Ronnie's and he stole the show for me - his groove is massive and his kick drum was almost like a second bass player on the gig.... I was a bit confused at to who the bass player was, looked a lot like rick barrio dill from vintage trouble to me. Whats wrong with the name? its catchy, hard to forget, modern? Its at least slightly different from the" .... experiment" or the ".... movement"
thepurpleblob
You can tell by the origin of everybody above and by the fact that I have never heard of them that this must be a Laaaandaaaaan band. Yes?

urb
It's called PB Underground 'cos it's the drummer's name and I think he started the band - dull story yes - but a simple catchy name nonetheless - the good thing is it doesn't matter once you've heard them... I could say the same for many, many bands out there
molan
Only caught the last couple of songs last night but really impressed. Great horn section - although TOP were pretty damn impressive too! Third time I've seen Daniel Pierce on lead vocals this year - each time with a different band, DotFunk, Shuffler and now PB and each one was really good Not bad for an x-Factor 'failure' . . .
