greyparrot Posted April 13, 2008 Posted April 13, 2008 I guess for me its staying alive as long as poss, and one of the reasons is cos i love playing, and entertaining, (www.bsharpduo.co.uk) and i guess i wanna do this for as long as i can! Quote
6stringbassist Posted April 13, 2008 Posted April 13, 2008 Same with me, I just love playing and would hate not to be able to do so. Quote
MacDaddy Posted April 13, 2008 Posted April 13, 2008 Not sure what you mean? Do you mean in general - eating 5 a day type stuff, or do you mean avoiding things like RSI by playing and using the right techniques? Quote
WishICouldWalk Posted April 13, 2008 Posted April 13, 2008 I do a fair amount of cycling and go to the gym occasionally - if I bloated out, I reckon the change in the way the bass rests against me when I'm playing would totally screw things up! Quote
charic Posted April 13, 2008 Posted April 13, 2008 I swim about 4km a week atm... but thats just generally trying to get in shape. Quote
AlRainbow Posted April 17, 2008 Posted April 17, 2008 Look after those hands, I've just had to have an operation on my left hand due to problems with carpal tunnel. Haven't been able to play for about 3 months before getting the Op, good news is that the healing time is very quick so should be back in action very soon. Anyone got any good exercises to help my recovery? Also any ideas for problems with a tennis elbow injury? Quote
