fretmeister
For donkey's I've played Status and have never needed to adjust the rod. Now I have added a Sandberg to the stable. I've just loaded it with 35-95 and I need a bit more curve in the neck. Adjustment is from the headstock. Sandberg web site suggests anti-clockwise to curve the neck a bit more... but from which end of the instrument???? Why can't they just say "when wearing the bass twist up for less relief and down for more" (or whichever is actually correct!) Help!! Ou7shined
Looking down the tr it's righty tighty lefty loosey. edit - in the majority of cases. Edited March 31, 2012 by Ou7shined
icastle
Just treat the trussrod in the same way as you would a woodscrew. To allow the neck to pull forwards you need to slacken the 'screw'.
