mrbassman_de Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 (edited) Update : Sold - pending payment etc. Thanks for looking. Fodera Imperial 5 Specs: Mahogany Body Full Spalted Maple Top Kingwood Board (rare and soundwise close to Braz Rosewood) 35 scale neck Black Hardware Weight: 4,9 kg Duncan Single Coils in 60s positions Pope preamp (standard version) String spacing 19mm Very good condition. Some minor blemishes on the body. Great 60s Jazz Bass sound with modern options. Comes with original teardrop case, which looks a bit used. Retail price for this bass would be around 10.000 Euro plus 1-2 years wait. Jason from Fodera mentioned somewhere at TB that this bass was originally built as fretless. May be ... I bought it fretted - but I can't see ANY evidence about an after-market fret job. The fret work is perfect and looks exactly like on my other Foderas (which are built as fretted ones). Even the nut looks original and has not been heightened... Edited April 24, 2012 by mrbassman_de
yybass Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 This use to be my bass for a while the tone is outstanding, never mind the fact that it was once fretless, I regret selling it. Have a free bump
