OmbuluT
I've tried over and over to get this despite using slowing down software. Is there any chance that someone could help me. I can work out odd bits but not the complete thing,. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I5CX7-3RwHQ I find bass lines very difficult to pick out and seem to be able to pick out guitar lines much more easily. I wish I could get better at picking out bass lines - any tips anyone. Thanks guys.
Bilbo
Just keep at it. You will gradually tune in better as you do it more. Can't hear the music in work. What is it?
chris_b
Get your ear dialled in by working out easier pieces first.
Happy Jack
You're not being helped by either the sound quality on that clip, or by the 'tuition'. Try http://playbassnow.com/ to see how it's done properly.

GonzoBass
I think she may be using a funky C to C# at the end of bars 1 & 2, rather than a B to C. Nice [s]rack[/s] rake though (watch her right hand).
